Etan Cohen to helm 'Boy Scouts'
CohenParamount has drawn on its "Tropic Thunder" scribe Etan Cohen to create his directorial debut around the horror-comedy "Boy Scouts versus. Zombies."Studio didn't have comment.Disney Writing Program alums Barbara Evans and Emi Mochizuki authored the script, which made an appearance around the 2010 Black List.Story follows three senior high school Boy Scouts who must use their abilities in order to save their small town from the vicious zombie outbreak.Todd Garner's Damaged Road is creating with Andy Fickman and Betsy Sullenger of Oops Raspberry braid, in addition to Bryan Brucks' Brucks Entertainment. The scribes' manager, Sean Robins, will professional produce.Cohen, who authored "Tropic Thunder" and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," is probably the authors credited on Sony's approaching tentpole "Males in Black 3."
